Happy Wednesday, everyone! We hope we will see you all at the farmers markets this weekend. Sam will be at Hendersonville 7th Ave farmers market from 8 AM until 1 PM and I will be at the Transylvania Farmers Market from 9 AM - noon. As usual we will have micro greens and I will have eggs in abundance since we took last weekend off.
I am coming with two weeks worth of duck and chicken eggs. If you haven’t tried duck eggs before they taste the same as chicken eggs they’re just denser. They can be eaten the same way chicken eggs can be fried, scrambled or omelettes. They are wonderful for baking because of their higher fat content they make baked goods fluffier. Our chickens and our ducks free range all day and are fed organic Scratch and Peck grain and soy free feed. We rinse and refrigerate our eggs. Hope to see you soon.!

Good afternoon everyone. Sorry we have not been at the Etowah Lions Farmers Market the last two weeks. We have been trying to get settled into our new home.I will be at the market this Wednesday with your fresh micro greens and fresh duck eggs. We’ve ventured into chickens and ducks and our ducks are laying pretty much on the regular now. I will have five or six 1/2 dozen containers with me. They are fed an organic fermented feed, and they free range. If you have never tried duck eggs, they’re very delicious. They taste the same aHendersonville Farmers Market.

As usual, Sam will be at Hendersonville FarmTransylvania Farmers Market 8 AM until 1 PM. I will be at Transylvania Farmers Market Saturday morning 9 AM to noon. If you have any special requests for specific micro greens because we sell out of the most popular varieties quickly, please let us know. We can always write your name on a package and save it in our cooler for you to come and get it. We do this for some of our other regulars and would be happy to do it for anyone who requests it. Happy Friday everyone, hope you had a great week! Unfortunately, I will not be at Transylvania Farmers Market, but I will be back next Saturday. You can find our products in Nature Hollow, The Etowah Meat Depot,and The Local Table. They just got their deliveries on Wednesday and Thursday, so they’re stocked up. Sam will be at Hendersonville Farmers Market, 8am-1pm tomorrow. If you haven’t tried our Viva blend, it is really delicious. Attached are some images of ways to use them. The pictures are of a chicken flatbread, it has chicken, onion, jalapeño, cheese, our micro greens, and the avocado Crema. Also, steak tacos, topped with radish slices, Mexican cheese, our micro greens and the Crema. Enjoy!

Avocado Crema Recipe

* 1 ripe avocado
* ⅓ cup sour cream
* ¼ cup cilantro
* Juice of 1½ limes
* 1 small garlic clove
* ½ teaspoon salt
* 3–5 tablespoons water

Blend until silky smooth and drizzle over the tacos or flatbread, then top with Viva Blend micro greens.

Hi friends, hope everybody's having a great start to their week. Just reminding everyone that we're at Etowah Lions Club farmers market on Wednesdays, 3 PM to 5:30 PM. You'll find us on Saturdays at two separate markets: Hendersonville Farmers Market, 8 AM to 1 PM, and Transylvania Farmers Market, 9 AM to noon. We have all your favorites, and we've brought back our Immunity Blend, which contains broccoli, pea shoots, amaranth, and beet microgreens. Note that we won't have it at every market, so keep an eye out for it. It's really good. I'll include some of the nutritional benefits in a comment below. Also, we have cooler lunch bags and cooler backpacks for purchase at our markets. The smaller green lunch bag will hold 3 to 4 medium containers or 2 large ones. The orange backpack will hold 5 to 6 mediums or up to 4 larges. We're selling the green lunch bag for $10 and the orange backpack for $20. With your purchase, you'll get two small pre-frozen ice packs. So, if you're out shopping and have errands to run, stop by and see us. Happy Friday, everyone! Tomorrow morning, Sam will be at the Hendersonville Farmers Market from 8am-1pm. You'll find me in Brevard, at the Transylvania Farmers Market, which starts at 9am and goes until noon. We will have all your favorites and lots of cantaloupe microgreens this weekend. If you haven't tried cantaloupe microgreens, they're really great and have a lot of nutritional benefits. I snapped some images from the internet about their nutritional benefits and ways to use them; take a look. I will attach the ways to use them in the comment section.
