Michigan folks…I am bringing farm fresh pork from my farm up with me on Friday. I am selling it in 1/8 for $125 (30 lbs of pork) or 1/4 for $250 (65 lbs of pork). Cuts are done and vacuum sealed with date, weight, and cut in it. You will have an assortment that includes bacon, sausage, chops, ribs, whole hams (cured and smoked), and Boston butt. I will be in Adrian on Friday at 6 and going to Kalamazoo Saturday morning. I’ll be back in Adrian around 6pm on Saturday and coming back to Alabama on Sunday morning. I just got done after the 3rd day of a project and this is the cleanest, least sweaty day. I expanded the feeder pig area for my hogs. I did it all by myself and super proud of the end result. Truth be known, after today I am sick and tired of ungrateful, unhelpful animals. I am thinking about giving them away. So, that being said…does anyone want a couple of 9 year old boys? 😂😂😂

Ok, we are doing this! I have a pig in the freezer. $250 for a quarter ~60-65 pounds of meat. I am sort of a novice at this but I will get better. The first 5 customers that I have will never pay more than $250 (no matter how bad Biden screws up the economy) and when I get better I can assure you that the price will go up. You are buying the 1/4 pig and I will butcher as a favor or you can get the quarter and do it yourself. Those of you who have tasted Miss Gretchen’s BBQ and my spin on bacon, know that it is worth every penny. Hit me up on here or call 254-226-1586 and place your order.

I have 7 Great Pyrenees puppies that are ready to go to their new farm. Both of their parents are working dogs on my farm where they are exposed to goats, chickens, ducks, pigs, horses, cats and kids, but what I don’t have is predators. They were born on 4/13/24 so they are a little over 9 weeks old. They will come with their first round of puppy shots that I will administer in front of you so you can take them to the vet and give the vet the vial. 4 of them are pure white and 3 have some badger markings.

Seriously considering selling 1/4 hogs. Want to gauge what folks around here would be willing to spend. Here is what I’m thinking:
~65lbs of pork depending on what you want. It would include ~20lbs sausage, 5lbs bacon, ~5lbs ribs, ~15lbs of pork chops, ~10lbs of Ms Gretchen’s BBQ, ~10lbs of ham. Ham would be cured and smoked (salted, sweet, spicy or a combination). Bacon would be cured (salted, sweet, spicy or combination). Sausage would be mild or spicy.

I can also do roaster type hogs ~75 lbs for an open fire bbq that will still have the skin on it for cracklins’.

Before I get too deep into buying the equipment, I want to gauge interest and what y’all think I should charge.

Born February 11th and ready to go to your farm. I have five puppies available (4 male, 1 female) that have been around chickens, ducks, goats, horses, pigs, cats, and kids. Be quick, my puppies do not last long. Their parents are working dogs on my farm and I can tell you that I have never had a predator problem with them on patrol. Bella had eight puppies last night. Mama and all babies are doing good.

In related news, Bella took exception to Anna getting too close to her babies and they started fighting. They broke two water lines in the crawl space under the laundry room. I had the pleasure of being up until almost 2am shutting off water, rescuing puppies, and cleaning up water. Good times!
