Lots of inquiries on why I have stopped offering our GF donuts, so here are my thoughts!

🍩We work with a huge amount of wheat flour every single day. Once mixing starts, flour gets everywhere. It travels through the air, settles onto surfaces, equipment, racks, glazes, toppings, and products throughout the shop. No matter how much we clean, those particles have been proven to stay in the air for 24+ hours.

🍩Because we share fryers, ovens, prep spaces, and tools, we cannot guarantee that any donut would be completely free of gluten, even with the best intentions.

🍩For someone with celiac disease or a serious gluten sensitivity, even trace amounts can be harmful. We are not comfortable labeling something gluten free unless we can truly stand behind it safely.

🍩We are working on adding some options for customers who avoid wheat, but we want to be upfront that anything made in our kitchen will never be truly gluten free.

🍩Rather than offer something we cannot guarantee, we choose to be honest and transparent about it.
