The wait is over!! Got a chance to try out some of the dishes coming to A Tavolo in MOSAIC at Chatham Park at the first night of the “Menu Takeover” at TheSycamoreatChathamMills. We thoroughly enjoyed them all - from the start with the burrata, to the AMAZZiNG scallops, to the short rib and a couple amazing pasta dishes - it was all wonderful. I hear the reservations are tight, but if you can make it to The Sycamore this week, definitely take advantage of a sneak peek at this wonderful new restaurant coming our way.

Sometimes classics are best! Some great looking and delicious Fish & Chips for Jaso my lunch mate and “Not So Scotch” eggs for me. The brisket nachos were devoured before we could get a picture! Thanks Doherty's Irish Pub & Restaurant for a great lunch! Tell Dimitri we said 👋! I hear he is a great bartender.

Had a nice visit to The Plant today for the Bolivian Festival! Music was in the air, people were dancing and everyone having a good time. Ta Contento, Kingston 99 Kitchen and Fair Game Beverage Company were all hoppin’! There is always something great going on at The Plant, like the Chatham Tomato Festival 🍅 tomorrow at 12 PM – 6 PM. For one week, August 11–16, we're taking over the kitchen at The Sycamore at Chatham Mills (480 Hillsboro St, Ste 500, Pittsboro, NC 27312) for an exclusive preview of the a Tavolo menu, ahead of our September opening in MOSAIC at Chatham Park

Mark your calendar for these special events during the takeover:

Wed, Aug 12 – Jazz Night with Dave Quick Jazz: Lounge menu (a Tavolo apps & small plates) also available in the Dining Room. Reservations recommended.

Thursday – Lounge Thursdays: $10 a Tavolo small plates + cocktails in the lounge, no reservation needed. Dinner menu also available in the dining room.

Sunday – Brunch, 11am–3pm: Full dinner menu plus brunch additions. (Select Sundays only.) Reservations recommended.

Rainy day calls for some hot crab dip and a cold glass of Sauvignon Blanc! Saving a little room for my salted caramel cookie, of course. I never pass them up.
