Our Family Farm

M& M Alpaca Farm of North Carolina is a family owned and operated farm in Pittsboro, NC. It is owned by Marty and Mary Raynor. The day to day work on the farm is up to Marty and his awesome crew. Laina Peck-Bostwick, the chief operating officer, handles business craziness, including the Fiber Studio & Educational Center, the paperwork, shows, emails, and record keeping. The whole family loves to get involved though, including Marty and Mary’s children, Brittany, Cody, Madison, Bree, and Connor. You’ll often see the family out in the pens, training, cleaning, and working hard to keep up with the daily demands of farm life. Marty has always loved owning and raising animals, and tells everyone how rewarding it is to see his family come together to bring his dream to life. An alpaca farm is a dream that has finally come true. We have both Suri and Huacaya alpacas of all colors on the farm. The animals are bred and raised to show at the many alpaca events around the country. As a young farm in the industry, we have been doing our homework to get the best animals we can find to start off an excellent breeding program. Many of our animals have winning bloodlines and have won at many events throughout the country. Our goal is to meet and work within the family of alpaca ranchers and farmers to build long lasting relationships.

We give tours of the farm during our open hours. We do ask that all tours must be scheduled in advance. If you are hoping for a same day visit, please CALL and see if there is availability. We are a very busy, working farm but we're willing to try to work things out if we can.

There is a $5.00 fee per person. Discounted group rates may apply, please let us know when you schedule. Depending on the group size, class fees, or other situations as they arise, we may require prepayment.

This is a retail and educational space. It is an incredible addition to the farm, so even if you've been to see us before, you should definitely make the trip again. We have lots of products on display, including socks, hats, gloves, scarves, rugs, sweaters, and so much more! We do ask that if you would like a tour of the farm, you contact us and set up an appointment. We're so excited to have you come out and visit!
