Today was a good day at Double C. Thanks to those who came out and participated in our Fall work day.

We shared laughs, enjoyed riding and working horses in real life experience scenarios. We ate a good lunch together and prepared cows for the months ahead to keep them healthy.

Grateful for our friends and the fellowship we share!

Looks like the Surprise is on us. Due to rain forecasted and us not wanting to have folks show up and not get their money's worth of riding, we are postponing this until next Saturday.

Our hearts at Double C are heavy today with the news of the passing of Jeremy “Worm” Stuart.

He was one of the very first few to reach out when he heard we were opening the arena. He participated in our very first event and came to several of our sortings. Personally, he called and encouraged Christian, gave some insight on ideas and the last time he was here he told us what an amazing sorting event it had been that day.

We are praying for his family as they navigate this difficult season. We have an event today, an open arena when we were going to celebrate Christians birthday. We are moving forward but no fee today just an open arena where people can come, get some riding “therapy” ,if that would help, and fellowship together. We know Worm never passed up a chance to ride. We will have food at 5:30pm.

Stay tuned as we work on an event to honor Jeremy and his love of the horse, riding and sortings!

You will be missed!

Tomorrow!!!! You don’t have to have or bring a horse! Plenty to do and we will have food for everyone around 5:30!
