Our Story
Bliss Farms sits on just over 13 acres in rural Chatham County, North Carolina. In 2014 the Walsh Family had set out to build dreams of bliss and create a farm where we could grow fresh produce, herbs, and flowers for our friends and family. As time passed and production grew our little farm turned into more than just a hobby. Now offering Healthy Harvest Subscriptions as our community supported agriculture program we proudly serve Chatham county and surrounding communities.
Healthy Harvest Subsriptions are a weekly produce, herbs, and flower delivery service provided by Bliss Farms. Each week throughout the growing season a 5-gallon bucket of produce is delivered to your door. This service is valued at $50. The bucket can be used over the week to gather compost which will be picked up the following week and added to the farm compost pile. This allows the customer to reuse valuable food scrapes and not have to worry about the hassle of dealing with compost. The farm uses the compost to grow healthy produce, so it’s a win-win for all. The buckets are then sanitized and returned the following week with fresh produce, herbs and flowers. Subscriptions feed 2-4 people and run for 20 weeks during the growing season. Healthy Harvest Subscriptions for 2020 start June 6th and run straight thru Oct 17th.
