Strawberries can be frozen using several methods, including flash freezing, freezing in syrup, or storing in containers or freezer bags, each preserving flavor and texture for later use.
Preparation Steps
Select ripe berries: Choose bright red, plump strawberries without soft spots or blemishes. Small berries can be just as sweet as large ones

Wash and dry: Rinse strawberries in a solution of 4 parts water to 1 part vinegar to remove bacteria and pesticides, then pat dry

Remove tops and trim: Cut off green tops and any damaged areas. Halve or quarter larger berries for easier thawing and blending

Freezing Methods
1. Flash Freezing (Dry Pack)

Spread prepared strawberries in a single layer on a baking sheet.

2. Freezing in Syrup
