We’ve got a great lineup waiting for you this Saturday! Fresh meat (yes, chicken AND Wagyu!), fresh produce, baked goods, hot food, NEW products from two of our vendors, and so much more!

Vendor Spotlight: Paynefully Crafted

Sometimes something special starts with something as simple as sitting on the couch watching TikToks. For Courtney Payne, one night of scrolling led her to a pair of earrings she thought were cute. She wondered if she could make them herself, and her daughter said, “Mom, you could make those.” So she did.

And from that little beginning, Paynefully Crafted was born.

Courtney creates polymer clay earrings, keychains, bookmarks, trinket dishes, coasters, flower frogs, worry stones and magnets. Her earrings are her best sellers and her favorite to make, with each pair taking around six hours from start to finish.

But what Courtney loves most about the market isn't just what she gets to make or sell. It’s the people. The conversations, the friendships, the familiar faces, and all the little moments that happen on Saturday mornings. She says the relationships she’s made have become one of her favorite parts of being a vendor.

And maybe that’s why her advice to anyone thinking about joining a farmers’ market is so fitting: JUST GO FOR IT. Take the next step and don’t hold yourself back. Whether you sell something or not, there are other vendors ready to support you, help you out, and send people your way.

Courtney took that first step herself, not knowing where it would lead. Now she’s made new friends, met some pretty amazing people, and found a place in our market family.

We’re pretty happy that one night on the couch led her to us. ❤️

Mark your calendars and join us for the final Saturdays of the season! We have Homecoming weekend, our last Kids Day with free pumpkin painting, Halloween party, and plenty of fall fun planned. Be sure to come out and enjoy every one! 🎃

HERE IS YOUR VENDOR LIST FOR SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3RD!

We’ve got a great lineup this weekend, and it’s looking like it’s going to be a beautiful morning at the market!

We’re officially on the homestretch of our 2026 market season, so be sure to take advantage of every Saturday while you can!

Vendor Spotlight: Big Al’s

Some people are vendors at the market, and some people just feel like they’ve always been part of the market family. Alec Laverack is one of those people.

Alec has been supporting the Pittsburg Farmers’ Market for many years, both as a vendor and a customer. He brings plenty of comfort food to the market — breakfast burritos, homemade biscuits and gravy, no-bake cookies, and his homemade salsa, which seems to sell out every week!

When Alec talks about the market, though, it’s the people that stand out. He remembers bringing his son to the market 10–15 years ago, back when it was on South Broadway. The vendors welcomed them like family, and that feeling has stayed with him all these years.

Since then, Alec has made countless friends here and loves the variety, the food, the music, and the community that makes this market special.

We’re so thankful for Alec and all the years of support he’s given our market. He’s not just a vendor — he’s part of our story, our community, and what makes the market feel like home.

And if you see Big Al Saturday, be sure to say hello — and grab some salsa before it’s gone!
