Vendor Spotlight: Willow Tree Weaving Soaperie and Creations
Meet Natalie of Willow Tree Weaving & Soaperie, who has been part of the Pittsburg Farmers’ Market for 10 years—but her story started long before that. Natalie developed Willow Tree in 2004, beginning with woven home décor and growing it into a collection of handcrafted soaps, jams, baked goods, textiles, and more.
Sustainability and local ingredients are at the heart of what she does. From fruit grown on her own farm or sourced from nearby farms for her jams and jellies, to goat’s milk used in her soaps, Natalie puts a little bit of home into everything she makes.
And it truly is a family affair! Natalie’s two daughters, who she and her husband raised here in the area, also help with the creations and come to the farmers’ market. Her husband, Tim, is the behind-the-scenes unsung hero of the farm—building soap molds, caring for the chickens that provide farm-fresh eggs for her baking, mowing paths to the berries, and keeping the family’s bees. He’s also been known to serve as harvester, taste tester, show helper...pretty much whatever needs done!
Come say hi to Natalie and her family, check out her award-winning artisan soaps, and see what Willow Tree has brought to the market this week!
