This weekend didn’t go the way I planned. I couldn’t make it to the Farmers Market because I had a sick child at home, and I missed an event I was invited to because I somehow got my days mixed up. I didn’t get nearly as much done as I wanted to, and sometimes those moments make me feel like I’m failing.

But instead of staying in that feeling, I went to the kitchen and made something beautiful apple flowers 🌹

These little apple pastry flowers were my reminder that even on the messy, unproductive, disappointing days, we can still create something good. Sometimes lifting yourself back up starts with something as simple as flour, apples, pistachios, and a little creativity.

Not every weekend has to be productive to be meaningful. Sometimes taking care of the people you love and finding one small thing that brings you joy is enough. ✨

And today, these apple flowers were enough.❤️‍🩹

It’s giving Dubai Chocolate meets Baklava Pound Cake ✨🤍

Rich chocolate, lots of pistachios, and that baklava-inspired flavor all in one cake.

Around here, pistachio isn’t just an ingredient… it’s basically the main spice in this house! 🥰
