✨Gorgeous Italian Spot✨
🍴
📍 Zelienople, PA
About 30 mins north of the city, the adorable little town of Zelienople is dotted with cute boutiques ( & were great), a toy store, homemade ice cream shop & more! We finally drove up to check it out earlier this month & loved our afternoon there. We had our toddler in tow, so booked the earliest ressie we could at Della Terra & crossed our fingers!
This restaurant interior spoke to me. Soaring original ceilings, a rich yet earthy palette of green, orange, & deep blue, warm wood, + plenty of brass accents…perfect! They even used pretty mix matched antique dishes & had a mocktail option with NA spirits on the menu. The service was warm, friendly, & attentive. The food looked incredible & the pasta is house-made (love), just nothing stood out to me as “oh my gosh, would order this again”. That being said, I still hope to make it back to try more! Haha.
📸 Pictured:
🍹 CRODINO SPRITZ $10
non-alcoholic aperitivo, soda, orange
(Like an NA aperol spritz which I normally don’t like, but this grew on me with every sip.)
💚 FRIED ARTICHOKES $18
marinated artichokes, grilled lemon, cacio e pepe aioli, pecorino romano
(Recommended & I normally like artichokes but wasn’t a fan of these, texture was tough, but sauce was delish.)
🥗 PL***OY CAESAR $8
escarole, radicchio, crostini, grana padano
(Husband was a fan of this)
🍝 RICOTTA GNOCCHI $35
sun-dried tomato pesto, lobster, herbs, calabrian chilis
(I was super excited to try this, but idk it just lacked flavor for me **I did ask for less spicy bc of pregnancy heartburn but probably shouldn’t have)
🍝 LAMB RIGATONI $32
lamb sausages, onions, garlic, red wine crushed tomatoes, harissa, herbs, parmesan
(Pasta texture good, but husband also didn’t love this dish overall, can’t get a better explanation out of him haha.)
🍕 MARGHERITA $20
basil, tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, grana padano, evoo
(Nice fresh flavor, a little floppy in the middle for my taste.)
