We learned on Friday evening that there was an issue with our liquor license, rendering us unable to sell (or package) beer.

We’ve been doing everything we can to find out what the issue is and rectify it; but have yet to be able to come to any conclusions.

And as bad ass and anti-establishment as we’d like to think we are, we just aren’t willing to risk it and will be closed for at least this week.

We are hopeful that there is a simple error or miscommunication occurring that can be quickly fixed, but if we’re honest we just aren’t sure how long this might take. We will keep you updated as soon as we have more information, but for now just know that we appreciate you and your support and we hope we’ll have more info to share very soon.

Our Thanksgiving Holiday Market — featuring 15 vendors — with Scone Ranger is OPEN.

The kitchen from the upcoming Midnight Whistler is slinging Turkey sammies. You don't have to hit the holiday market to grab one.

Pusadee's Garden is an iconic staple of Pittsburgh's diverse food scene. For our staff, it hits home. It's where we've had that first date. That celebratory dinner. That let's-go-somewhere-special Friday.

We're thrilled to finally come together to bring you a beer that pairs with literally anything on the menu. Imagine a crisp lager with an intriguing twist. Jasmine Rice adds a complex flavor profile while staying extremely clean, palatable, and sippable. Hopped with Spalt and Mandarina Bavaria hops to add notes of slight citrus, cherry blossoms, and clementines.

It's on tap at the Taproom and at Pusadee's.

Back in black.

Black IPA was one of the first beers we ever made and we obsessively try to improve every batch.

You'll find this rendition teaming with aromas of orange, grapefruit, and citrus rind. It feels like black velvet and balances chocolate, fresh toast, and burnt caramel.

Necromancer 🤝 Halloween

Tomorrow: bring the kiddos all dressed up and get a half pour on the house until 7:30pm. We’ll have candy for them, but they have to say Trick or Treat. We’ll also have kid-friendly Halloween movies on the screen.

Around 7:30, we’ll put on the scariest stuff we can find. Dress up for a half pour on the house, or just come hang out.

Blacksheep BBQ will be doing dinner service.

"Ghost of the Rye" • Resurrection No. 30: Roggenbier

A few weeks ago we teamed up with Rhinegeist to brew Resurrection No. 30: Roggenbier. We’re damn proud of what our teams have created together and so excited to get it into your hands.

Brewed with copious amounts of rye, we bucked convention and chose lager yeast over Weizen to let the malt be your sole guide down the River Styx. This one is truly a fall beer.

Resurrection No. 29: Old Ale

It's the grandaddy of Resurrection No. 24: Burton Ale, and the great grandaddy of the English IPA.

Old Ale traces its origins back to an era long before the Industrial Revolution when brewers had to get creative to keep their beer cool. They discovered that sweet, high-alcohol brews aged well, but this style was still unintentionally plagued by souring.

Revolutions in technology have obviously redefined beer-making practices, which has allowed us to present to you what an Old Ale should taste like.

It stands one step shy of a Barleywine, boasting a rich malt character and a comforting warmth with just enough hop character to keep it balanced. Look for notes of treacle, toffee, and those strawberry candies from your grandparent's candy dish.

Perfect for the changing of seasons, this one feels like falling leaves. Pour it into a goblet, sink into a vintage leather armchair, and let your thoughts wander through the passage of time as you savor this extraordinary brew.
