Looks like we’ve got a gloomy Wednesday ahead of us, but fear not as we’ve also got something very exciting hitting the draft lines and can fridge today at open.

Foolish Desire is making its return today. This 6.66% West Coast IPA is still hopped with Chinook and Cascade, but we have made some adjustments since its last release.

We are still very much in love with this brand, branding, and the idea behind this one. We simply just wanted to take another crack at what we’ve been chasing all along with Foolish.

You can expect a more traditional or old school American IPA/West Coast IPA this time around, with a more prominent malt backbone and what is easily the most hops we’ve ever used hot side. Big flavors of pine and dank citrus are met with a balancing, chewy caramel. Think late 90s early 2000s American IPA.

We’re excited to see what yinz think of this, and pumped to be featuring it on draft next to Graveseeker (our main West Coast IPA that is much more a contemporary take on the style).

Pens game will be on tonight as well. You know the drill.

Draft week is here and we couldn’t be more excited! So much so that we’re opening a little early this Friday for some pre-draft fun. Our doors will be open from 12-11pm so swing through for a few pops or grab some cans on your way to your draft watching destination.

We’ll also be running a special promotion all day: show up in your team’s gear and get $1 off each draft pour. Whether you plan on watching with us or stopping by before the draft starts, we’d love to see ya and talk a little football.

You’ll also be able to find us popping up at Friday night. Come spend some time in Lawrenceville with us, whether you’re local or not.

Wow, that was a blast! Our hearts are feeling very full after yesterday’s sold out Curation event. Huge thank you to everyone that came out and supported our unorthodox idea of smaller, more intimate and curated beer festivals. Yinz were amazing. Huge thank you to all the homies that sent beer out for this event, I think it’s safe to say that Pittsburgh enjoyed the hell out of it. And lastly, but certainly not least, thank you to our amazing event staff yesterday. This event wouldn’t have gone on without you guys, and sure as hell wouldn’t have run as flawlessly without you. Real A team energy 🖤

We look forward to hosting 2 more curation events later this calendar year. But for now we’re going to enjoy the afterglow of yesterday, rest up a bit, and get right back to the daily grind. Taproom will be open as usual today, 4-10pm.

Curation: 2.1 H A Z E is officially sold out! Huge thank you to everyone that bought tickets for tomorrow’s festivities, we can’t wait to share these amazing beers that have traveled from all corners of the country to our humble corner in Lawrenceville.

A few quick and easy answers to some questions we’ve been fielding:
- you don’t need any physical or digital ticket, we’ll be checking everyone in by name/email upon entry
- we’ll start checking everyone in 30 minutes prior to each session
- food for tomorrow will be our dear friend
- we’ve got plenty of beer on hand, please leave any outside alcohol at home tomorrow
- the street will NOT be closed tomorrow. Curation will be taking place on our property. Please keep that in mind while enjoying beers outside.

This was very largely a pre-order, so if you pre-ordered they’re here and they’re ready for ya. If you chose to have yours shipped, we’ll be getting those in the mail on Monday. We have an EXTREMELY limited amount of extra shirts available for purchase in the taproom in limited sizes. These will be sold at a first come first served basis.

We’ve also got some new stickers with the same design on it available as well. Plenty of those to go around.
