Strong - Malty - Dark Fruit - Bread Crust

Super proud to have brewed this style for the first time and took home a bronze medal at Bockfest 2026, a bock only competition hosted by the Bloatarian Brewing League.

A fascinating and challenging style that involves first brewing a Doppelbock and then slowly freezing it, separating out the water thus concentrating the beer.

❄️ On a snowy January afternoon a group of awesome homebrewers came together in Peters Twp, PA to put on the Dark Depths Beer Fest.

🏞️ The goal was to raise money for the Upper Chartiers Creek Watershed Association.

💰 We raised over $1k for conservation while sharing brews and having a great time with the community.

The theme was for each homebrewer to bring “dark” beers for the winter season.

We poured:
🇬🇧 English Dark Mild
☕️ Nitro Imperial Dark Coffee Cream Ale
🧤 Winter Warmer

We were awarded best table by a judging panel of pro brewers.
🏆 The Dark Water Award

An imperial cream ale with some dark malts conditioned on a medium roast Nicaragua coffee from out of New Jersey. The coffee lends caramelly and nutty notes that are supported by the smooth, clean and slightly sweet cream ale background.
