We make God’s love complicated… but it was never meant to be.

There’s something so peaceful about watching them rest, right?

They are completely safe, completely unaware of everything being held together for them.

And every time I see moments like this, I’m reminded…

Love doesn’t wait for perfection.

It doesn’t wait for us to “get it right.”

“But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” – Romans 5:8

Just like our animals trust us without striving…without proving…

without fear of being turned away…

That’s the kind of love God has for us.

A love that covers.

A love that provides.

A love that came for us before we ever knew we needed it.

This is what we’re building in our sanctuary…

A place where animals are safe, cared for, and deeply loved.

But also a place that gently reminds us what it looks like to receive that same kind of love from Him.

This Easter, I’m holding onto that truth a little tighter…

We are loved fully, right where we are. 🤍

If you think horse life looks like it does on social media… I have news for you. 🤣

Out here, “real horse life” looks a little different:
✨ Freshly brushed coat?
Nope — we prefer the mud spa package.

✨ Flawless, aesthetic pasture pics?
Try “rolling until you’re fully camouflaged.

✨ Luxury bedding?
Only if you count the hay bed they steal from their own dinner.

This is Diamond — our “baby.”And instead of posing for the perfect Instagram shot, she decided to redecorate her hay…into a five-star suite she handcrafted herself. 10/10 comfort. 0/10 respect for the hay bill. 😆

But honestly?This is exactly how horses were created to live:
✔ Roaming
✔ Rolling
✔ Making questionable choices
✔ Turning themselves into mud sculptures
✔ And finding joy in the simplest things

Perfectly imperfect. Completely themselves. And absolutely living their best, most chaotic lives.

At Dream Achiever Farm, we don’t expect our horses to show up camera-ready.We just want them to feel safe, free, connected, and allowed to be the goofy, hay-hoarding, mud-loving creatures God made them to be.

“Living the dream!”

I used to hear someone sarcastically say that.

And it hit me every single time… because deep down, I longed to be teaching others about horses, building a sanctuary, and helping people connect through God’s creation.

Back then, I didn’t have horses.

I didn’t have anything set up for horses.

I didn’t have the confidence. Just a dream that felt too big for the girl I believed myself to be.

But God…
He started opening doors in June, and everything started to evolve.

Things were happening FAST.

We’re cleared fields, cleaned out an old barn, cleared out debris, filled in holes, and continue making new fenced areas for the horses God trusted us with.

We had our first visitors.A young girl learning not just to “ride,” but to truly connect — with confidence, softness, and understanding.

This isn’t just a farm. It’s the beginning of a place where:

✨ Horses are valued for who they are, not what they can do.

✨ People rediscover confidence and purpose.

✨ Healing happens through God’s creation — one interaction at a time.

We’re building this dream with our own hands.

Burn pile by burn pile.

Fence post by fence post.

Step by step.

And if you’re chasing something that feels impossible… don’t quit.

Your “not yet” might become your “look what God did” in a moment.

The herd is growing — and so is the dream God planted. 🤍

Meet Sunny, Honey, and Penelope (who might soon be renamed — keep reading to help us choose!)

Each of these mares has their own spirit:

🐴 Honey – the oldest, a gentle motherly soul who longed for companionship. She’s finally starting to rest, her heart softening again.

🐴 Penelope – the newest and youngest arrival, calm and graceful. She found peace within hours and now stays close to Honey’s side.

🐴 Sunny – our independent ray of sunshine who adores her humans. Yet lately, we’ve seen her resting more deeply — because there’s comfort in having a herd.

God has been so faithful through every step of this journey.

Each horse that comes here reminds me how His timing and purpose are always perfect.

This sanctuary is about so much more than rescue or refuge — it’s about healing. It’s about growth.

The way animals calm our souls, soften our hearts, and remind us of God’s gentleness… that’s where true restoration begins. 🌿

We’re building a ministry where people can experience that — healing and growing in faith with Jesus through the gift of animals. And as our herd grows, so will the number of hearts that find hope again. 🕊️

The seasons don’t doubt God’s timing—why should we? 🍁

There’s something about being out on the water that slows life down. 🛶

The ripples on the lake, the leaves beginning to turn, the sky scattered with clouds—it all feels like a gentle reminder from God that He is both powerful and near.

Yesterday, as I kayaked across the lake, my body was strengthened by the rhythm of paddling, but my soul was strengthened even more by the beauty of His creation. 🍂

Out there in the quiet, I felt the truth of God’s promises: if He cares for the details of the seasons—the trees, the birds, the wind—how much more will He care for you and me?

Sometimes we need to pause and let creation preach to us: He is faithful. He makes all things new. And the beauty we see now is only a glimpse of the glory to come. ✨

Scripture to rest on:
🌿 “Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” – Matthew 6:26

🌿 “He has made everything beautiful in its time.” – Ecclesiastes 3:11

💕What a beautiful Mother’s Day—one that reminded me how deeply blessed I truly am.

☀️The morning started early, caring for 19 “unicorns” (aka the sweetest horses at Lutherlyn). I honestly love being up before the world is buzzing—to tend the garden, feed the animals, and listen to the birds sing their hearts out.

✝️After the morning chores, we went to a meaningful church service. Victory has helped me grow in my faith and rediscover confidence in areas I didn’t even realize were broken. I’m so grateful for that.

🥩Later, my husband made a delicious lunch, and I shared it with him and our daughter—my two favorite people. It’s moments like that where I pause and thank God for this beautiful life.

🐰The rest of the day included some tinkering in the garden and extra bunny snuggles. I can’t get over the beautiful colors of the little Rex babies we have this season! We brought him in last year to introduce new genetics—and wow, did he deliver!

📖Arianna even wrote the sweetest children’s book about Rex. I can’t wait to finalize and release it—she captured his story so well.

✨There’s so much to look forward to at Dream Achiever Farm, and I’m so excited for what’s ahead.

Here’s to family, faith, fresh air, and the simple joys that make life rich.🌸
