Take us back!!!

Can’t believe it’s already been 2 weeks since the farm was buzzing with young campers exploring, learning, and getting their hands dirty.

Each summer, HUF partners with the Brashear Association to welcome elementary and middle school students for weekly summer camp. This year, campers grew and harvested fresh produce, explored edible plants, met goats and chickens, and spent plenty of time outdoors!

We love transforming our Youth Farm into an outdoor classroom every summer! A place where Hilltop youth where explore, build confidence, and connect with nature, healthy food, and their community.

We couldn’t do what we do without our incredible volunteers!

From corporate groups and schools to summer programs and Saturday volunteers, hundreds of helping hands tackle the big projects that keep our farm growing and help us provide thousands of pounds of fresh produce to local food pantries each season.

This Saturday is extra special: it’s our Volunteer Thank You U-Pick! 🌸💐 If you’ve volunteered with us this season, join us at 11 AM to pick your own bouquet from our flower field.

Every third Wednesday at 12 PM, Hilltop Alliance hosts its Coffree & CommuniTEA Home Repair Workshop, a chance for neighbors to connect, learn, and build community over coffee, tea, and conversation. ☕🌿
This week, we were excited to host everyone here at Hilltop Urban Farm! Guests enjoyed a farm tour, created beautiful bouquets, potted up plants/ bagged up veggies, and, of course, shared plenty of coffree and communiTEA.
It was such a joy to welcome everyone to the farm and share our space. Thank you to Hilltop Alliance and everyone who joined us, we can’t wait to do it again! 💚

On Friday, Hilltop Urban Farm had the chance to be part of something pretty special!

We spent the evening at the Jack Johnson concert talking with concertgoers about the farm, volunteering, and the work happening in the Hilltop. We even had the opportunity to meet Jack and Kim, who were incredibly kind and genuine.

Through the All At Once Action Village, Jack highlights local nonprofits at every tour stop, and we're so grateful Hilltop Urban Farm was one of them.

If you've been thinking about supporting HUF, now is a great time. Even if you didn't attend the concert, donations to Hilltop Urban Farm with "Jack Johnson" in the memo will be matched dollar for dollar by the Johnson Ohana Foundation, up to $2,500.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, asked questions, signed up to volunteer, or simply said hello. Here's to growing food, growing farmers, and growing community.
