Katering By Kreft Katering by Kreft is a Pittsburgh catering company offering personal chef services, in home dining, and cooking classes.

Nicholas Kreft started his culinary career as a young boy in his Busha’s kitchen in Toledo. Years later he attended the prestigious San Diego Culinary Institute where he was classically trained in French and contemporary cuisine. After graduating from SDCI, Nicholas worked in some of the finest establishments and resorts in the San Diego area, including the Coronado Island Marriott Resort. In 2008

he was selected to be a corporate tent chef for the US Open at Torrey Pines. During his culinary career Nicholas has experimented with a variety of cuisines from traditional French to Asian fusion. He describes his cooking style to be California cuisine: a mixing of fresh ingredients with bold flavors. In San Diego, he ran his own personal business as a caterer and personal chef. In 2008, he returned to the East Coast and started a new venture here in Pittsburgh called Katering By Kreft.
