EngineHouse 25 Wines is an urban winery located minutes from Downtown Pittsburgh, in a restored historic 1896 firehouse. Our winemaking philosophy is simple: we find the best fruit from some of the world's finest appellations and let the grapes express themselves, using a traditional method of winemaking the way nature intended. First fruit is brought in from some of the best appellations in the w

orld (Sonoma, Napa, and Lodi California to Chile and Italy), then hand-pressed and aged in oak for 18 months. Engine House 25 Wines is hand-crafted from start to finish by artisans, producing a flair and beauty not typically found in everyday wine.

We’re pivoting from our usual wine tastings to host a January pop-up! We said to heck with dry January. See what Duane has in store. We’ve been bottling like crazy the past few months and have a lot of new varietals to taste. A chardonnay is aging in oak and we just might need help giving it a little taste as well.

You might have heard that EH25 Vintner is pretty into the color red. What better day to show photographic proof of this pallete preference than on !!

Speaking of red wine, we recently bottled a barrel of 2019 Sangiovese/Barbera blend and a 2019 Merlot/Cab blend. Both of which are tasting very nice right now. Getting yourself a bottle and celebrate this holiday the right way!

We’re pivoting from our usual wine tastings to host a BIG BOTTLE TASTING, and you have the power! A few lucky guests will get to choose which bottles we drink during the tasting. The selection will consist of magnum (1.5 Liter) bottles and above. Get out of the summer heat and have some fun in the cellar.
