Preventative Self Care ✨

With self care being more of a common household term these days, I’d like to talk about the importance of prevention.
:
While self care is somewhat “originally” meant to be a preventive practice to avoid burn out, it seems many of us have discovered it after we’ve already been sick, stressed out or out of alignment.
:
Making self care a priority when we’re not experiencing illness or stress can help us prevent or even lessen the severity of whatever comes our way.
:
One way I like to practice preventive self-care is with a tea time ritual.
Usually first thing in the morning, but also at random times throughout the day.
I like to add rose buds and crystals to enhance the experience.
:
Today I’m using Stay Well by .
This blend is great for preventing illness and also to help your body fight and recover if you find yourself feeling unwell.
I love that it has echinacea, lemon balm and goldenseal. All herbs I reach for to help boost my immune functions and keep me feeling better faster.
