When we first started brewing in Hazelwood, we always wanted focus on European styles & lagers, and less on hop forward beers. However one of our first offerings was foot in both of those worlds, a Nelson Sauvin dry hopped Belgian ale called “Flowers Lean Toward the Sun”. It became an instant fan favorite, but as we fine tuned our offerings and brewed more & more lagers, Flowers unfortunately got put on the back burner. While we always envisioned bringing back Flowers (even prematurely purchasing labels over a year ago), our tanks remained full and it became harder & harder to fit it into our schedule.
However this year, we were finally able to find an opening in the schedule, and “Flowers Lean Toward the Sun” is finally back. This Belgian-style India Pale Ale is fermented with a farmhouse yeast strain & dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin hops, making for a very complex sip. Offering something for both the hop head and the Belgian ale enthusiast.
Available now on draft and in 4-PKs at our Hazelwood location and throughout the Pittsburgh area at reputable purveyors of craft beer.
