It’s the season for Pumpkins and Potatoes!

Many people wonder the different naming and bag types of potatoes. A “chef” size potato is generally a larger potato than standard. Baked potatoes and home made French fries are our favorite ways to use chef potatoes. At the stand, those are packaged in the brown paper bags with the word “chef size” on them.

Added this week also were blue potatoes, they come in 5lb and 50lb bags.

Currently the stand has regular sized whites, reds, yellows, russets and blues as well as chef sized white and russet.

We still have lots of carving pumpkins as well.

Another busy Saturday at the farm. Potatoes are being freshly harvested again this morning. Pumpkin stand is full. Have a great weekend!

It’s finally the weekend! We have been busy already and have all 4 varieties of potatoes on the stand now: red, white, russet and yellows. Pumpkins are out and we’ll be restocking the stand all weekend. Winter squash is slowing making its appearance as well. Have a great weekend!!

It seems a little early, but it sure feels like fall out there. We have a small selection of pumpkins out for all those early fall lovers!

If you’re holding out for a few more weeks of summer, there’s still sweet corn on the stand.

White and Red potatoes are also on the stand in 5, 10 and 50lb bags.

Great news! The weather finally cooperated and we have sweet corn available again at the stand this morning (9/6/25)!

Sorry to say but today (8/31) we are temporarily out of sweet corn. We will post when the next batch is ripe and ready to sell. Red and White potatoes are still available. Thank you!

Happy Saturday! It’s the last true weekend of summer (even if it feels like October out there this morning) and we have been busy at the farm picking sweet corn and digging and bagging potatoes. The stand is fully stocked with red and white potatoes and sweet corn this morning.

The produce stand was a new venture a few years ago, but we’ve been growing potatoes for a long time here at the farm (took a few…or 20 years off). A lot of our customers either worked for the farm or had parents that worked at the farm. These pictures are just a few of the many from years ago. In the first picture the driver still works at the farm today 😉 and follows along with all our crazy ideas.
