Turkey pickups start today and we are excited to get these birds into your hands for the holiday.

Enjoy this real moment of Heather doing what she does best: bringing good food from our farm to your table.

At market this week she will have preorder turkeys ready along with a small number available for purchase. Chicken will be minimal this week and next as our focus is on turkey pickups. If you still need a turkey we have a few left, so reach out soon.

We’re staying home this weekend—for a good reason.

After a long, dusty transition to the farm, we’re finally licensed and ready to open the first phase of our new space: an outdoor beer garden, seasonal farm café, and on-site farm store.

To make it happen, we’ll be skipping our usual farmers markets this weekend and putting all our energy into welcoming you here.

Opening Weekend Hours:
Saturday: 12–8 PM
Sunday: 12–6 PM

Here’s what you can expect:

Beer, wine, cider, canned cocktails, seltzers, and our new line of non-alcoholic craft sodas

A farm café menu with pretzels, paninis, and snack boxes

Retail shop stocked with poultry, pork, beef, and beer to go

Outdoor seating, open skies, and views of the farm

We’ll return to our market booths once the dust settles, but in the meantime, we’d love to see you on the farm. Come hang out, try something new, and help us launch this next chapter—even if the walls aren’t quite done yet.

This is an outdoor-only space (for now) with a retail store indoors. Please plan for the weather when you visit.

Thank you for your patience while we made this move. We can’t wait to welcome you here.

The Suscovich tractors are back in action!

We used to run 14 of these mobile shelters back in the day—each holding around 30 birds—and moved them daily across fresh pasture. When we scaled up to 250-bird shelters, they took a well-earned retirement… until now.

This season, with a tighter schedule and high demand for brooder space, these old reliables are the perfect solution for our younger flocks. They're ideal for giving our birds access to fresh grass, bugs, and sunshine while they're still too small for the big shelters.

We love seeing them back in the field doing what they were built to do—keeping birds happy, healthy, and moving forward.

The tiny dino's, aka turkeys, are our first birds on pasture this season.

You may notice something different about our turkeys this year. Due to hatchery shortages, we sourced our poults from a New England farm that primarily raises birds for large-scale, indoor operations. As a result, these turkeys underwent a practice called beak trimming, which is still common in confinement farming systems.

Beak trimming, also known as "debeaking," involves removing the tip of the bird’s beak shortly after hatching. It's used in confinement settings to reduce injuries from pecking, which can be a serious issue when birds are kept in close quarters without access to natural behaviors.

While we didn’t choose this practice—and it’s not something we do ourselves—it was already done before the poults arrived on our farm. That said, we want to assure you that our turkeys still live full and active lives on pasture. They are fully capable of foraging for bugs, grazing on grass, and engaging in natural turkey behavior.

In fact, spending time on pasture gives them a richer diet, more exercise, and a much better quality of life than they would have had in a confinement system. We believe in transparency, and we’re proud to give these birds the best life possible from here forward—even if their start looked a little different than usual.
