We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Arthur “Arty” Anderson Jr.

Arty worked with us at Zenner’s Package & Variety for many, many years, and he was so much more than an employee. He was family, a friend, a familiar face to generations of our customers, and truly one of a kind.

Anyone from Morningside knew Arty. Around here, we always considered him the “Mayor of Morningside.” He knew everyone, everyone knew him, and he always had time for a conversation and a laugh.

Arty was an awesome employee and an even better person. We were fortunate to have him as part of the Zenner’s family for so many years, and he will be greatly missed.

Our thoughts and condolences go out to Arty’s family and friends during this difficult time.

Rest easy, Arty. ❤️
