🚨 SCAM ALERT 🚨

Yesterday we kept having “eversource” call us. Caller ID read eversource. They stated my account was past due and they were calling as my service was about to be suspended.

The first call- I went to my online account to confirm I was not behind on any payments and ignored the call.

The second call, I called the number they gave me- noticing it was not the same number as any listed on their website.

When I called, they answered as eversouce. They knew what months I had service, but when I stated my account was up to date and my bill this month was set on autopay, the line went blank…

Now fully convinced it was a scam, I called the actual customer service line and confirmed it was not them calling and my account was fine.

Be careful, don’t give out additional information, and if you’re hesitant, hang up and call the number listed on your bill to confirm you’re talking to a legit representative
