Not sure what variety this little guy was going for. It definitely throws the eyes for a loop though because he's actually very well put together, but the pattern is throwing it off. Very sweet and gentle, and tiny! Under 3 lbs kind of tiny, barely makes show weight, lol. Not that he is showing. I don't know, just kind of cool-looking.

Because some will ask, he is out of a Lilac and Chin combo. His brother is a copper; I thought he was going to be a chocolate agouti (which Dylan wants). The rest of the litter was blues and coppers. This doe has also thrown torts (another Dylan favorite) . Breeding her to a REW this time and see what happens, seems to be you'll never know what you'll get. Even the computer isn't getting it right, so we're unlocking something.

Looking like its the start of sauce time! Best part is all most of these are from the random tomato plants they chicken...

The garden has turned into a jungle! Tomatoes, gourds, and luffa plants are growing everywhere! My tomato plants are easily 6 feet tall at the moment, and over flowing the boxes.

Woke up to a total of 26 new little New Zealands this morning.

The white litter has been in the works for a bit. We had someone ask us for some whites. They're not Lillian's favorite to show, so she always breeds for broken. But we put the two best whites she has together this time. The doe is out of a nice line, along with the buck. Hopefully, this will be a nice pairing. Lillian has done very well with the buck's offspring from multiple does.

The next photo is Lillian's main brood doe's litter. She is dam or granddam to a lot of her broken show rabbits. This time she was bred with Bandit. Not sure what she'll get out of that mix. But we can't breed another doe and not breed the foster momma.

The last photo is Oreo! We kept forgetting to breed her, but Lillian has been showing her so heavily. She's out of Moo and Joey. Lillian lost Joey in the spring to old age. Oreo and her sister Cruella have done amazingly well on the show table for New Zealands. We paired her with Ben, who won BOSB at the last show.

So, overall, a really nice group. All have full bellies this morning, and mommas have them snug as a bug in a rug.

They say rain is coming later today. Dylan preg-checked all five does who were due Wednesday and said three of the five are, in fact, pregnant. So hopefully, this rain will get them to turn the hostages loose, haha. He did say Curella and Purdy are not pregnant, which we knew was slim chance on those two. So try again, and breed Reba again with them, just incase we need a foster momma.

Waiting "patiently" for these new bunnies to arrive. After the wild ride this summer with the wild fire smoke, heat, and just whatever other funky stuff was going on, the kids paired them all back together again. 🤞 this round goes better. All current parings are New Zealands. Then it be Satins, and mini satins again, for NASS.

Eight months since her aneurysm and stroke.

Today, she had her last first day of school 😭. She's had some massive struggles, but more triumphant gains. She's certainly a strong, badass young lady.

Not sure we're ready for this to be her last year of high-school, but here we are. We are certainly grateful to have this year—a year that makes us count our blessings.

She isn't done with this fight yet, unfortunately. But she isn't letting it control her life either. She is determined to go on and become a welder after high school. What that looks like right now, she is not sure. But we are supporting her in every way we can to help her get to where she is going.

Have fun, baby girl! Enjoy this year. We love you and we are here to support you in every way we can. Go show the world you came out of this stronger than before.

Without the support of buyers most kids couldn't afford to raise their projects. We greatly appreciate the support. Our kids not only raise and show the rabbits themselves year around, they also supplied many projects this year to many kids in three different states. Along with let kids barrow breed projects, to see if a rabbit project is something they would like to do.
