This Broccoli Rabe was such an amazing crop for us this Fall! It's been a while since we've grown it on the farm, but we look forward to taking care of it again next season.

The Rabe is actually a flower. Now that it's done for the season they are blooming and preparing to set seed. While it's sad to say goodbye to this crop it's beautiful to see this field of flowering brassicas!

This Broccoli Rabe was such an amazing crop for us this fall! It's been a while since we've grown it on the farm, but we look forward to taking care of it again next season. The Rabe is actually a flower, now that it's done for the season they are all blooming and preparing to set seed. Dug about 15 rows of potatoes today ... only 75ish left to go! If you know us you know we love growing potatoes. With help from our neighbors we have been able to successfully rotate our potatoes miles apart each year. Since the infamous Colorado Potato Beetle is a walker they can't travel to our next field and haven't damaged our crop in years. Being able to rotate our crop is helpful for us and our neighbors as we have spent the required three years cover cropping and transitioning those fields into organic production. Feeling very thankful for everyone who makes this work possible!!

Important CSA information!

We are so grateful for everyone who has supported us as a CSA member over the years, it has helped up build such a strong community here. At this point in our farming career we no longer wish to operate our CSA and therefore we will not be taking anymore payments. All currently purchased picks must be used by next October any leftover we will be forfeited to the farm. We look forward to continuing to see you at our farm stand and markets as we are still going to be growing beautiful veg! Even after your picks are used up, you will always be CSA members in our hearts!

There is still plenty of produce to purchase throughout this Fall and Winter, you don't need to wait til Spring!!

Some of you may have heard about our Kubota tractor breaking down recently. It's put a halt on our harvest and so many other things. It's in the shop and we are really lucky to bring a new-to-us tractor on the team. Here's to the crunch time of fall harvest and the joy of winter storage veggies - wish us luck!!
