Joe's Garlic offers homegrown garlic with a kick. Fresh garlic scapes available in mid-June and 7 varieties of garlic bulbs ready in August.

Also selling black garlic and maple syrup (traditional and bourbon-infused). Joe's Garlic is grown in Rensselaer County in upstate New York. I grow 7 varieties of hard neck garlic. My garlic is grown in rich soil that has been fertilized with horse manure for 20+ years. No pesticides are used. I started growing garlic because I love cooking. I wanted to grow my own garlic so that I would have diff

erent varieties on hand for every type of recipe. Since I started growing garlic in 2012 I have shared it with friends and family. Now that I have expanded my growing space I am beginning to sell my garlic.

DM me for larger quantities or to get on the waiting list for black garlic. Black garlic is regular garlic that is aged for weeks under controlled low heat (around 140–170°F) and high humidity. This slow process causes a Maillard reaction, turning the cloves jet-black and giving them a sweet, savory, and tangy flavor like balsamic vinegar, molasses, and tamarind.

Happy Father’s Day! I haven’t posted in a while but I wanted to say that the garlic is looking great this year and will be harvesting it in a few weeks. The garlic scapes have just been cut.
