We are skipping festivals and staying home Labor Day Weekend. We invite you to round up some friends and join us at some point over the three days for a different kind of experience!
Saturday Sept. 3-----------------------------------------
Wine and Food Paring Seminars ($15 per person)
Two Seatings: 1pm or 3pm
Jim Fish will lead you thru the mysteries and pleasures of pairing food with our wines. Cheeses, nuts, smoked trout, hummus, pita chips, dried fruit and chocolate will be sampled with different wines to explore what fits your palate. $15 per person. Limit 20 per seating.
Sunday, Sept. 4------------------------------------
BBQ catered by Powdrell's BBQ House ($25 per person) with music provided by Stagefright Slim
4:30pm to 6pm
Ribs, chicken, sausages, beans, collard greens, and peach cobbler with a splash of Peach Sabroso. $25 per person includes food, one glass of wine and unlimited non-alcoholic drinks. Wines will be available for purchase by the glass and by the bottle at club prices. RSVP by Wed, Aug 31. Limit 75.
Monday, Sept. 5----------------------------------------
Winery Open House, free library wine tasting
12pm to 5:00pm
Jim Fish will be pouring free samples of some of the rare and special wines that he has been hiding in our little library cellar. Included will be 25-year old, pre-commercial apricot and peach wines. Limited quantities of some older, commercial wines also will be sampled and will be available for purchase that day (e.g. 1996 Lilith Peach, 1998 Raspberry, 1996 Plum, and 1996 Sunset).
