Soybean Harvest 2022 complete on National Farmers Day! ✅ and just in the Nick of time with the rain showers tonight. Huge shoutout to our crew the last ten days-wouldn’t have gotten done without all of you! It’s not too often that I have time to play tender driver and get some cool footage like this! Dad post spraying our corn, putting down herbicides , some fungicide and foliar feed for our corn! Our sprayer has John Deere Exact Apply technology, which allows us to run 2 nozzles at the same time using a solenoid and plunger to control the rate and spray pressure! This allows us to be more precise and get a better application as well has having every nozzle body shut off to minimize over lap! Watch video closely and you can see the nozzles pulsing!

It’s a “Farming til Done” kinda night here at JCW Farms. It’s 1:00 am and we are still rolling along. The corn needs juice before the rows grow closed and the weather doesn’t seem to want to cooperate-rain showers daily have caused us to not be able to run or only part of a day. Today we got rained out at one farm so move to somewhere we can keep the wheels turning!! We are changing the saying “ Making hay when the sun shines” to “Sidedressing Corn when the stars shine” to outrun the showers!! 🌽🚜💨

began with a little soybean planting on Saturday. Yesterday was both corn and beans. Today we are running both planters together in a 640 acre field planting soybeans. Hoping to knock this one out in record time with this beautiful weather!!! And that Spring 2021 will cooperate and this will be one and done!!! Stay safe and be productive to all of our fellow farmers out there!!! 🌱🌽🚜
