Proud to be partners and supporters of PLAINFIELD PARK DISTRICT

Werk Force Brewing owners Brandon and Amanda Wright and their children were honored at the Plainfield Park District Board of Commissioners’ regular monthly meeting on Oct. 14 at the Prairie Activity & Recreation Center.

The Wrights were presented with the Illinois Association of Park Districts’ Best Partnership Award in recognition of their many contributions to the Park District, including organizing volunteers to clean up the Avery Preserve and Van Horn Woods disc golf courses, brewing collaborative b**rs and donating a portion of the proceeds to help maintain the courses, and hosting the Friends of the Plainfield Park District Foundation’s Pints for Parks fundraisers.

Once again it’s the time of year where everyone gets a taste for their favorite beverage – Bourbon Barrel Aged Basic Bear!! We embraced our inner basic-ness and infused Ceylon cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, clove, vanilla and Ghana cacao nibs to quench our hidden pumpkin spiced latte cravings. Yes you read that right, we added pumpkin spice and all things nice to create this special Barrel Aged Sleepy Bear – Kick back, throw on some sweat pants and relax around a campfire with your best of friends and this rich, chocolaty, pumpkiny treat.
