This conference is where I became a life time member of Montana Farmers Union....

I walked through the doors beat up, and winter broken after kidding 27 goats. The president of MFU gave us our welcome, and I had to choke back tears at how much he cared about us, and when I say care, I mean genuine, heart to heart care, (you know it when you see it.)

That was just the beginning. The next two days were full of getting to know an incredible staff dedicated to agriculture and our rural communities. Then there were the 60 amazing women in the room, and the golden thread that linked us all together was the love of our farms, and our communities. Every corner of agriculture was in the room: honey, sheep, cattle, bison, horses, pulse crops, just say it and it was in the room. Those connections we keep today. Thank you Montana Farmers Union for the opportunity to be in this room and support our women in agriculture.

Eeeek! So excited for everyone to be there! ♥️

It’s time to register! We are excited to welcome Courtney to the 10th Annual Women’s Conference while we get down to the nitty-gritty of mental health.

Courtney Brown Kibblewhite is the Vice President and co-owner of Northern Ag Network. In 2021, along with the Montana Department of Agriculture, the Northern Ag Network created the award-winning “Beyond the Weather” media campaign to normalize mental health conversations in rural culture.

... It’s a gift, and you should use it.

Me: If it’s a gift, does that mean everyone gets it?

Son: No

Me: Why?

Son: Because it’s only for those that know how to use it.
