18 month old bulls ready to find some girlfriends. This guy is one of my favorites, and a great example of the crew.

3H My Turn 861M is out of a Hudson Pine female we purchased years ago, and our herd bull from Prickly Pear, PPSR Big Timber 13H. With both calving ease and birthweight in the top 30 percent of the breed, he will do great on your heifers!

Fall calving started off with a bang! While finishing up.the kids 4H market projects with the sale of their steers and trying to bring breeding animals and tack home yesterday, we had 5 calves... in 5 hours yesterday! Started with a set of twins, and finished with a first calf heifer. All arrived safe and sound, and without help.

Bulls have started heading off to their new homes! Friday, 3H 696L and 3H713L headed off to Western Idaho to work, and on Saturday, 3H 601K and 3H 704 headed to Central Oregon to start their new jobs!

We have decided to send one of our 2 herd bulls on to a new group of girls. These bull have been outstanding for us, but we just have too many of their daughters to keep them both here. Both bulls have great calving ease and feet. They are easy to work with and get the job done without any fuss.

Both bulls are heavy muscled, big ribbed and deep bodied.

Big Timber is 3/4 SM 1/4 AN and homozygous Black
RedHill is 5/8 SM 5/16 AN 1/16 AR. He is heterozygous Black.

It's branding day for the bulls! First set heading to their new girls on Saturday. The boys have been acting like boys, and rolled in the mud that the spring thaw has brought. They dulled up all my clipper blades, so we only got through half of them. Hope to finish Friday. We are loving the new chute and man are these boys calm to handle!

Here is my photo proof that these bulls are a joy to work with! No, they have not been halter broke, nor have we focused on getting them to allow us to scratch and love on them. They are just super sweet (we do have a few who prefer we admire them from a distance) but the majority will let us get within a couple feet. It makes photos a mix between easier and more frustrating!
