We’re Hiring – Full-Time Water Treatment Technician (Plano, IL)

Mr. Goodwater is growing and looking for a reliable, high-character individual to join our team in Plano.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll work both in the shop and out in the field servicing water treatment equipment. If you’re mechanically inclined and willing to learn, we’ll train you.

What You’ll Do:
• Service water softeners, iron filters, RO systems & more
• Help in the shop and assist walk-in customers
• Troubleshoot equipment and solve real problems
• Work with a solid team that takes pride in doing things right

What We’re Looking For:
• Good driving record
• Strong work ethic and attitude
• Mechanically inclined (experience is a plus, not required)
• Someone who shows up, learns fast, and takes ownership

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
(Overtime available when needed)

Today was a meaningful day in Plano.

For over 30 years, the Water Wagon sign stood proudly in front of the building — a symbol of hard work, family values, and service to this community.

Yesterday, we carefully replaced that sign with a new one: Mr. Goodwater.

Before anything else, I want to personally thank the former owners of Water Wagon for the decades they invested into Plano. Businesses like theirs are the backbone of small towns. Their commitment to honest work and taking care of customers built something that truly matters.

To the Plano community — please know this:

We are not here to change what made Water Wagon special.
We are here to carry it forward.
