Florida farmers invest thousands of dollars in the equipment needed to grow and harvest our foo. They pay personal property taxes on that equipment year after year.

Amendment 2 would provide tax relief on qualifying business equipment, helping farmers and other Florida businesses keep more of their hard-earned money.

What is Amendment 2?

Florida farmers currently pay property taxes on qualifying farm equipment. Amendment 2 would eliminate those taxes on eligible agricultural equipment and other tangible personal property used for farming or agritourism.
