β’ 1 lb ground beef (80β85% lean)
β’ ΒΌ cup fresh parsley πΏ
β’ 1 onion π§
β’ 2 tsp 7 Spice
β’ Β½ tsp cumin
β’ Β½ tsp cinnamon
β’ Β½ tsp coriander
β’ Β½ tsp salt π§
β’ Β½ tsp black pepper

β’ 2 tbsp olive oil π«
β’ 1 lb Yukon Gold potatoes π₯
β’ 1 onion π§
β’ 2 tomatoes π
β’ 1 small green pepper π«
β’ 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce π
β’ 1 cup water π§
β’ Β½ tsp salt π§
β’ Β½ tsp black pepper
π Serve with fluffy vermicelli rice.

1οΈβ£ Blend the parsley and onion until finely chopped.
2οΈβ£ Mix with the ground beef, spices, salt, and pepper.
3οΈβ£ Shape into about 18 small kofta meatballs or oval patties.
4οΈβ£ Brown the potatoes in olive oil until lightly golden; remove.
5οΈβ£ Brown the kofta for 1β2 minutes per side.
6οΈβ£ Return the potatoes and add the onion, tomatoes, and green pepper.
7οΈβ£ Stir in the tomato sauce, water, salt, and pepper.
8οΈβ£ Cover and simmer for about 30 minutes, until the potatoes are tender.
