Pumpkins Etc. Family owned and operated. We grow our own pumpkins, gourds, squash, vegetables, mums and Indian corn Pumpkins Etc. All of our produce and mums are homegrown.

And Double F Farm are owned and operated by Derrick and Jane (Wright) Vanderweide. The Wright family started Pumpkins Etc in 1984 and we took over in 2018. It’s a bittersweet day for me starting my day as a “retired pumpkin farmer”. I enjoyed visiting with so many of you this season, sharing memories looking at photos from years past. My family operated Pumpkins Etc for 41 years. We made a lot of wonderful friends and countless memories. We are grateful to you all for supporting our business for so many years!!

As our season starts to wind down, Derrick and I would like to thank you for 41 great years at Pumpkins Etc. We have experienced several life changes over the past year and after a lot of consideration we have decided to make this our final season at Pumpkins Etc. This has been my family business since I was 6 years old and I have loved every minute of it! We still have 4 days left in our season, this weekend, October 24-26, and our final day will be October 31. We have a great selection of pumpkins, local honey and homemade fudge as well as a wide variety of antiques and collectibles available. We hope you will come see us for our final weekend and maybe take home a little piece of our history. We also invite you to follow our other farm page, Double F Farm to see what we do next!

It’s hard to believe we are approaching the end of October already!! We still have a great selection of pumpkins, mums and other fall decorations. Derrick and I spent yesterday afternoon and evening making several batches of homemade fudge and there is a great selection of local honey and goat milk soap (both from Smithville Mo). Starting this weekend we will also have a wide variety of antiques and collectibles for sale. It’s going to be a beautiful weekend at the pumpkin patch. Come see us Friday-Sunday 10am-6pm
