Dahlia season...my favorite season!!

Is it because I know cooler weather and fall are coming? Is it because I'm nearing the end of our growing season and I'm tired? 😅 Or is it because they are the most STUNNING flowers we grow? Probably all 3!

We've had a few dahlias here & there throughout the summer, but once the weather *finally* starts cooling off, that's when they'll really start to shine. And they're only here for a short window!

The end of August is starting to show around here. It's so fun to watch how our flowers change as we move into a new season.

Still plenty of summer left but I can't deny I'm ready for fall and those open-the-windows kind of days.

It's been a big week around here with both our babies starting school, Pre-K for Vivian and Kindergarten for Henry! I've kept myself busy making a lot of made-to-order bouquets for birthdays, anniversaries, and just because!

We plan to have lots of fresh flowers available at the stand tomorrow & Saturday! Keep an eye out 😘

If you haven't been to our self-serve stand yet, it's super easy! Look for the pink "Open" flag, pull into the parking area, pick out your favorites, pay and you're good to go!

Can't believe it's already time for school to start! Henry will be starting Kindergarten and I am unwell 😅 but he is so excited to meet his teacher and new friends at Compass Elementary School!
