🍝 Ever wonder how rigatoni gets its shape?
Rigatoni has its roots in Italy, particularly central and southern Italian cooking. Its name comes from rigato, meaning “ridged”—those grooves help sauce and cheese grab onto every bite.

And this is where the magic happens 👇 the rigatoni die. Fresh pasta dough is pushed through the die to create that familiar ridged tube shape before being cut to size.

We’ll have lots of short extruded pasta at the farmers markets this weekend, so stop by and stock up!
