It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Stanley Brent Smith, a proud fourth-generation farmer.
Stan devoted his life to the land he loved and to the people around him. His passion for agriculture was evident in everything he did—from milking cows and raising crops to creating opportunities for others to experience the joy and value of farm life. He found great fulfillment in sharing his agricultural heritage with his family and community, inspiring generations through education, hard work, and genuine kindness.
A testament to his dedication came in 1964, when he was awarded the prestigious FFA American Farmer Degree, one of the organization’s highest honors, recognizing his outstanding achievements in agriculture and farming.
Stan’s legacy lives on in the fields he cared for, the traditions he preserved, the family he cherished, and the countless lives he touched. We will forever be grateful for his example, his unwavering work ethic, and the love he had for farming, family, and friends.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
