Dog Days of Summer on the Farm! 🐶☀️

This is Roy. He’s Sheila’s canine sidekick who visits the farm when Sheila works in the gardens. Roy loves to bark at big birds, get in the garbage, and cool off in the river.
Typically sporting red bells on his collar, Roy loves to trade them out for Halloween costumes in the fall!
Roy is a very good boy and is enjoying these dog days of summer!

There’s no denying that the smoky skies are a reminder of the devastating wildland fires this year. But if there’s one small silver lining, it’s the breathtaking sunsets they create.
As we admire the beauty, let’s also remember why it's there and keep those impacted by the fires in our thoughts.

Most of all, thank you to all of the wildland firefighters and first responders who are working tirelessly, often in dangerous conditions, to protect lives, homes, wildlife, and our forests. Your courage, sacrifice, and dedication do not go unnoticed. Stay safe, and thank you for everything you do🌲🌅
