Hi! We're Justin and Leah, the faces behind Pleasant Pines Microgreens.

We live in Pleasant Lake, Michigan, on a cozy half acre homestead that we affectionately refer to as "Pleasant Pines." We started growing microgreens indoors for our family in 2025, and loved that it provided us with fresh produce all year long.

Leah is a Registered Nurse by profession, so it didn't take long for the health benefits to become a passion for us.

We realized that year-round fresh produce packed with health perks was something worth sharing, so Pleasant Pines Microgreens was born.

One of our favorite ways to get daily greens is with a creamy microgreens smoothie!

We usually throw in whatever greens/fruits/dairy we have on hand. Today we had a Pea Shoot Smoothie! 🫛

For this recipe we used:

• 1 handful Pea Shoot Microgreens
• 1/3 C Greek yogurt
• 2 Tbsp Peanut butter
• 1/2 of a Banana
• 1 Cup frozen fruit
• 2 C Vanilla Almond milk
