An update since we've been getting lots of inquiries..

Our work tables are still covered in many many muddy dahlia roots, but we'll finish up and switch over to wreath making very soon.

Our wreaths will be available on our website and Toast & Berry Montgomery around Thanksgiving.

We are waiting to create dried flower bouquets till after Christmas/New Years.

We will be listing our dahlia tubers online after we finish digging and dividing, but a date has not been set quite yet. It will be fairly soon!! We'll be sure to keep you posted!!

Something I love about Flower farming is that I’m always learning. Yes, (and especially in August), I wish I had a momentary break from the constant influx of the lessons.

So, I’m trying to take each set back as the lesson that it is and not a failure.

I’m glad I am having plenty of struggles with growing in my earlier years rather than getting lucky and cruising by without learning. Each year comes with new challenges and this years theme seems to be on pest. I’m hoping this will give us a sturdier foundation to the business.

With all that being said, everything has been going great here on the farm. Lots of decision making, long days, networking, pest pressure, and growing pains make moments like cutting a new crop all the more rewarding.

On a slightly different note, here are some dahlias cut from today. With the slightly cooler nights we’ve been having, the dahlias have decided they may not want to die after all.
