🚨 BIG NEWS! 🚨
After ten months of hard work, milking routine adjustments, and lots of learning-
WE ARE OFFICIALLY LICENSED BY IDPH 🎉
This means that our milk is officially considered Grade A quality.
Raw milk from IDPH permitted farms is held to the same set of standards as pasteurized milk.

We expect to have limited raw milk availability again around August 1st.

We are also working on creating an app📱to help us streamline and organize our milk room processes.
Our goal is for customers to be able to see milk room stock in real time, reserve milk quantity, pickup times and even pay. 🫶🏻

We still have a few turkeys available for pickup this Tuesday and Wednesday. Our heritage turkeys are pasture raised, $5.50/lb and FRESH, never frozen!

Last day to order is Monday, Nov 25th.

2024 Thanksgiving Turkey Pickup
The farm store (ok, it's really a cabin!) will be open during the following hours for shopping and/or fresh turkey pickup:

Tuesday, November 26th, 4pm -7pm
Wednesday, November 27th, 10-2pm

If these times, don't work, no problem. Just let us know and we can arrange something else, or possibly even deliver. If you have already placed a deposit for your turkey, you will be getting a detailed pickup instruction email soon!

This deposit will secure your 2024 turkey. The final cost is $5.50 per pound. Our turkeys roam the pasture with the chickens and other livestock, & have access to coops at night to stay safe from predators. This humane environment allows them all-day access to green grass, fresh air and sunshine...

Just in case you needed some super sweetness in your life today... Ice and Yeti's pups are 36 days old today! They'll be leaving for their new farms in just 3 weeks. It goes by so quick! Come snuggle them up at Puppies + Yoga @ Willow City Farm on August 20th!

Great Pyrenees pups ready for work! These LGDs turned 8 weeks on April 9th. They will come vet checked, dewormed, vaccinated, and micro chipped. Mom and dad were both raised on our farm, too. They are currently in a pasture with goats, chickens and ducks and pups are being trained by 5 adult Pyrs. They've been exposed to cats, cows, hogs, horses and house dogs. They're handled daily by kids.

Males and Females, badger and all white available. Located in Central Illinois.

Willow City Farm breeds, trains, and sells Livestock Guardian Dogs to approved farms.

We have two breedings available for 2023.

Our first litter of 2023 is WCF's Tundra x WCF's Yeti. Both dogs are full Great Pyrenees. The litter of 7 has 4 females and 3 males available. The pups were born February 9th, 2023 and will be ready for their new farms around the week of May 9th, 2023.

All our livestock guardians come exposed to goats, sheep, horses, cows, alpacas, poultry (all kinds) and most importantly, other dogs (including family pets (2 Great Danes and a chihuahua), people and children! Our children are ages 11, 10 and 2, and our working farm is open to the public. Pups come well-socialized from a young age.

All pups will be exposed from birth to chicken and goats full time in their own pasture. From about 5 weeks and up they can be moved to a pasture with horses, cattle, hogs and alpaca. We have five adult livestock guardians training our pups on about 75 acres.
