CWD Ranch & Cattle CWD Ranch & Cattle was founded in 2016. We raise Brangus and Beefmaster cattle. There is plenty of fun at the ranch!

Our ranch is home to whitetail deer, turkey, quail & other wildlife (including many dove & migratory birds). We are located approximately 45 min South of downtown San Antonio

God is good! Safely moved 45 bales of hay today (mostly by myself), stocking up for winter. Went to finally put the tractor up after dinner and thankfully my wife was there and immediately noticed a fire in the engine bay. She was also 20 feet away with the truck, so I was able to get the extinguisher on it in less than 20-30 seconds! Right place, right time, if she wasn’t there it would have been way worse! I’d have probably lost the tractor, all my hay, and possibly massive fire with how dry our county is…again, it was a total GOD thing!

Heavenly Father, please send rain to our land. Protect our brothers and sisters and their animals from fire, and give them strength. Be with the brave men and women who are fighting fires and running toward the chaos to help others. We need you now more than ever, calm the winds, and pour down rain, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen!

The spring calves are dropping! Fortunately almost all have gone well. We only lost one calf to a first time mom, but fortunately it looks like the mom will be ok. Thank the Lord for the recent rain too!
