If you are friends with me, you should be aware of my sentiments regarding Veterans so I am bringing it up. I am fairly confident that I already know two individuals who will assist, but I am hopeful that I will receive more responses, as this is a pressing concern.
Twenty-two Veterans succumb to their struggles daily. May I request that two friends or family members copy and repost this message?

Today we said goodbye to the kindest soul and cowiest horse I ever swung a leg over. A horse you could do any job on and anyone could ride. The entire family appreciates the memories. Enjoy those green pastures buddy. RIP Charlie 2006-2026

The sad truth. Most people that produce the food for everyone else live in fear of not knowing whether there will be a “next year”. Crippling debt and the brink of extreme anxiety and depression is a reality for most of us. We do it out of passion, a passion that fewer and fewer people of the next generation have because they see what parents and grandparents have gone through for a piece of dirt or a herd of cows be it dairy or beef. When they can go to town and get a job for 5 times the pay, benefits, weekends off, paid holidays and vacation, it’s not a hard decision to leave the family farm and pursue other professions. Hats off to everyone that feeds the world.
