HELP WANTED: Morning Part-Time Milker 🐄

Back-to-school time is here, which means summer is coming to an end. While we definitely won’t miss the summer heat, we will miss our summer help!

As some of our part-time crew heads back to high school, we have an opening for a morning part-time milker.

🕖 Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–10:00 AM
Reliability is important—we need someone who can consistently be here for those morning shifts.

Duties include:
• Assisting with morning milking
• Cleaning and sanitation
• Stocking the farm store
• Other morning dairy and farm activities

No experience necessary! We’re happy to train the right person. Previous dairy or farm experience is definitely a plus, but what matters most is that you’re dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable working around animals.

💲 Starting pay: $14/hour, based on experience
💲 No experience? Two weeks of paid training at $12/hour

One of our regular customers needed to move their pickup to another day, which means we suddenly have several gallons of fresh milk available today! 🎉🐄

We’re open until 4 PM — swing by and grab yours. First come, first served!

It's heifer graduation day for Lizzie, Sugar and Blitzen!

The herds always a bit more wild when we add new heifers in, but its so much fun to watch the heifers get to explore the pasture for the first time. Even if they decide to go to the very far end instead of staying with the herd. 🤣

👋 Hi Friends! Unfortunately, we’re sold out of available milk for today. 🥛

We have just enough milk on hand to fill the orders that have already been placed, so we won’t have any additional milk available in the farm store today.

We’re so grateful for the incredible support and everyone's patience as we wait for a few of our gals to come back online after calving in the few weeks.

Better late than never! Fresca FINALLY had her new calf, nearly a week later than expected, on late Tuesday night.

🌻It's Linn County Fair week, and we wanted to give a shoutout to one of our employees!🌻

Our part-time milker, Addison, has been spending her week in the show ring with her sheep, Rambo, and her goat, Clover. If you've stopped by the farm this summer during milking, there's a good chance you've seen Addison.

This fall she'll be a junior at Jayhawk-Linn High School, and we're proud to have her as part of the Skyview team.

Good luck to Addison and to all of the 4-H exhibitors this week. We know how much time, patience, and hard work goes into getting an animal ready for the show ring. We're cheering you all on!
