Last chance to jump in on the CSA! Sign ups close NEXT WEEK!!

Two options, one easy pickup location, farm fresh, sustainably raised, pastured and timber raised pork and chicken straight to your table. No middle man, no grocery store. No hidden fees, just pure, great tasting meat raised on a farm local to you.

The best part is - you know the farmers who raised it. We can tell you the animal your meat came from, when it was born, who its “parents” were, what it was fed, where it was processed and so much more.

You can’t do that from most of the meat that’s at the grocery store. Take out the guesswork and leave it to us!

Order online through our website. Link in comments.

We went to check on the chickens between storms…. They were soggy. They were cold. The ground was saturated.

We had to do something. More rain was coming.

We went to the dollar store and bought cheap shower curtain liners to lay on the ground to give the something dry to sit on.

Once the chickens get cold, they usually die. Especially when they are wet.

Fingers crossed they will be alive when we go back out later.

Bristol’s pig “Reba” had her babies sometime between 4pm on Wednesday and early early Thursday morning.
I walked out around 8am Thursday morning to check on everything and she had 8 bay pigs all dried off and roaming around the pen.
We love it when our sows and gilts lay down and have their babies unassisted.
Good momma, Reba.

The kids are over the moon, clearly. It never gets old walking out to see new babies!

For real though… if your freezer is running low or need some inspiration for your meal plans, swing by the farmer’s market this Saturday in Louisburg and get stocked up on pastured/timber raised pork!

This video was taken by a person who lives just a few miles from our house. This tornado hit sugar valley area in mound city and then hit and destroyed for sure a barn and caused more damage to another barn 2 miles north of our house.

We are good and everything here is okay. We went to Eric’s parent’s house to their shelter.
Glad we did. It’s crazy how quick things happen.

We weren’t gonna leave until the YT channel I was watching (Ryan hall yall) kept saying “mine creek battle field will be hit” and I told Eric that we needed to get to shelter because we are basically in the path.
