If you haven’t seen this year’s Christmas display, there’s still a couple of days left before the lights go out!

The display is dedicated to an employee we lost this year, Todd Haviland. This was the tractor he operated and we honor him in a small way.

Worzella & Sons is seeking bulk potato truck drivers for the rest of our storage season (approximately 4 weeks).

The driver’s purpose is to transport potatoes to a variety of locations

Core Responsibilities:
• To operate vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, observing all DOT guidelines, while adhering to Worzella & Sons policies and practices
• To drive in close proximity with other farm equipment in the field and at storage facilities, knowledge of operating bulk truck
• To perform daily pre trip inspections on bulk truck
Must have a valid and current operator’s license with a clean record. CDL is not required.

Preferred Experience:
• Minimum 1 year driving potato bulk truck is preferred
• Experience driving commercial trucks with air brakes is a plus.
Driver's work schedule is dependent on weather conditions.
Employees will be expected to work as needed, which will require flexibility as to the hours and the times worked. 60+ hour weeks are common.

Physical Requirements:
• Requires the ability to climb into and out of the bulk truck cab
• Requires the ability to clearly understand verbal and written communication from others

1) Full time, seasonal from August – January
