A family owned and operated business. We raise honey bees and rescue bees in distress. We sell pure honey till the stock runs out. We are always working with other beekeepers and educators to be able to process and maintain the hives to keep the bees happy and healthy.

Interesting information.

Drought Trigger Level 1 was declared today, Friday, August, 9, 2024, for the Upper Savannah River Reservoirs in response to the pool elevation dropping at Hartwell and J. Strom Thurmond Lakes.

The pool elevations today are at 656.0 feet above mean sea level at Hartwell and 326 ft-msl at Thurmond. Under the current drought plan, the District limits outflow from Thurmond Dam to a daily average of 4,200 cubic feet per second when in Drought Trigger Level 1.

‼️Important Notice‼️

Due to the current increase in litters being born and the number of strays/dumpings in our county, we must push our public alter transportation services out until at least November.

For more information or to be placed on the list, please email [email protected].

Please note:
- We are unable to accept surrenders, found litters, or strays at this time.
- Owner surrenders will also be delayed. You can make a post and tag our shelter for assistance.
- Animal control is at capacity, and we need community support to address this issue.

If you find a stray or need to surrender an animal:
1. Make a post and tag our shelter.
2. We will try to find a place for the animal until we have space in our facility.
3. We will assist with food and crates if they are available.

We kindly ask all pet owners to act responsibly and lend a helping hand during this challenging time. Your cooperation and support are vital in managing the current situation and ensuring the well-being of all animals in our community. We can't do this without you.

‼️P.S. If you come across an animal you cannot care for, please do not pick it up. Instead, make a post tagging our shelter and spread the word in your community. You can also help by providing temporary food and water until a more permanent solution is found.‼️

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Together, we can make a difference for the animals in our community.

Did you know, those little bees you see in the evening sitting on flowers are old bees.
Old & sick bees don't return to the hive at the end of their day.
They spend the night on flowers, and if they have the chance to see another sunrise, they resume their activity by bringing pollen or nectar to the colony.
They do this sensing that the end is near.
No bee waits to die in the hive so as not to burden the others.
So, next time you see an old little bee sat upon a flower as the night closes in.....thank the little bee for her life long service. 🐝
