7 weeks ago the smooth talking out of state operation we hired to finish our floors drove away leaving us with floors that were not at all what we expected. They then tried to convince me that I had unrealistic expectations for how the floor should look and proceeded to insist that women were often “not happy” with the outcome after they finished a job. The pictures speak for themselves. The first set show their finished job then we transition to how the floors look today after Jeff Day came to the rescue. We are so grateful to Jeff and Jaime who swooped in and made our floors look as they should. We didn’t expect perfection, we are well aware that our floors lived in an auto repair shop for 10 years. They have character, as we thought they would. At least now they’re flat and we love all their perfectly imperfect grease stains and shiny pretty rocks.
Needless to say, we are 7 weeks behind schedule now so it may very well be winter before we open the doors. Looking forward to seeing you all as soon as we possibly can!
